Mr. Blake's Wedding

Last night we went to my friend's wedding. The bride, groom, wedding party, and decor were all beautiful, but that didn't stop Asher from getting some attention. He was very good through the service, but he started to get tired at the reception. Plus, I think he thought the band was loud. This is my friend, Heather from high school. She fell in love with Asher. They had a good time together.

This is me and Asher. I think that I had the cutest date there.

I love this outfit! My little cutie.

First Thanksgiving

Well, we went to Thanksgiving in New Roads, yesterday. Ms. Maranda and Mrs. Keri both invited us to their parents' house. For lunch, we went to see Ms. Maranda, Mrs. MaryAnne, and Mr. Randy. Asher was the only child there. Everyone fell in love with him. That evening, we went to Mrs. Keri's family dinner. Asher was not the only child, but he was the youngest. All the kiddies loved watching him. Asher was so tired he fell asleep as soon as we got home at 8:30 and sleep until 8 a.m. this morning. Today, we are going to Nanny's house. We should have lots of fun there too.

Little Man

This is a Trentin hand-me-down. The shirt is a little big, and the pants are a little short. But I think he looks like a little man. We are still counting down the days untill daddy comes home. He is working 21 days instead of 14 days. We have 8 1/2 more to go. We love you, daddy!

It's Almost Christmass

Okay, so it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but I've already got the tree up and some gifts under it. Asher has a lot of cute Christmass outfits. This was given to him by his Aunt Jessica. I couldn't resist taking a picture with him under the tree.

Rolled Over For The 1st Time!!!

Asher rolled over for the first time today! I am so proud of him! It's funny...the simple things amuse a child. However, the most simplistic things amuse the parents. He is growing so fast, and all I can do is enjoy and absorb it all.

Playing at Nanny's

Today, we went to Nanny's house to play with Calib and Trentin. Calib loves to play with Asher and Asher's toys.

Trentin was showing off his trains to his little cousin.

Plumber's Butt

Two weeks ago at grammie's, we discovered that Asher's diaper kept leaking. Well, Orvalle went to the store to buy the next size up after three soaking outfits later. Mrs. Lindi told me to use the old diapers for short periods of time. Well, today, I put the old diaper size on Asher just for tummy time. This is when I discovered my child had plumber's butt! Looks like cousins Kami and Luke just got a bag of diapers.

Played Too Hard

Asher fell asleep with his hands up like this. I guess he was waiting for me to put him in his crib. He sleeps in the funniest positions. He is never in the same spot where I put him. He almost always ends up side ways in his crib. Just the other night I thought he was going to roll over for the first time, because he was sleeping on his side! But he returned to his back shortly.

Playing Hard

Asher and Killer both love the jumperoo. Asher's only problem with it is that he can not put the toys in his mouth. But he still tries very hard!

Turkey Baby

This outfit was Gavin's last year. I am not sure how thankful Asher is for mommy and daddy, but we sure are thankful for him!

Sleepy Baby

I noticed today that Asher has lost most of his hair. The hair coming back or underneath the dark hair is blonde. I don't think he will be a cotton-top like his daddy was.

Tummy Time

Asher is doing very well with tummy time. I told him to come to me, and he kicked his feet. I don't think we are going to have trouble teaching him how to swim. However, we going to have to wait a little longer for crawling. Our big problem now is teething.

Hello Daddy

Asher is smilling for his daddy. We miss him very much.

Just Like Daddy

Grammie gave us this shirt. Orvalle had taken a picture in this very shirt when he was about 5 or 6 months old. Asher is almost three months and wearing the shirt!!!

Big Boy

We Miss Daddy

Last night we had to say good bye to daddy. He went off to work. Asher had trouble going to sleep, but finally went off to dream land around 11:30 p.m. He woke up thirty minutes after his daddy left. Asher had just missed him.

A Visit To Jena

This past weekend, we went to Jena for a visit. So many things happened that I had to post the highlights over the past couple of days!

A Dirty Diaper

After the game on Saturday, Asher told his daddy, "Send this to Bama, Daddy."

Grammie and Pop Pop's Baby

Asher had so much fun at his grammie and pop pop's house.

A Good Night's Sleep

Asher now sleeps until 5:30 a.m. He wakes up for a bottle and goes back to sleep untill 8 a.m. However, he would sleep until 9 a.m. at grammie's and pop pop's house. I think it was because when pop pop went to work, Asher took over his side of the bed.

Grammie's XMass Toys

Grammie has all kinds of great Christmass toys. Asher loved the talking and singing Santa.
